Meet Our Doctors
Meet the experienced and friendly optometrists who make Vision Source Kerrville a proud provider of vision care products and services in Texas.

Dr. Drew Whitehead has been a part of the eye-care industry since high school. He has held positions as an optometric technician, optician, surgical technician, and laboratory technician in private and commercial optometry clinics, as well as ophthalmology clinics.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘Em!) and went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Whitehead has been practicing at Vision Source Kerrville since 2016.
Dr. Whitehead is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. He specializes in family optometry care, contact lenses, LASIK/Cataract co-management, and the management/treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, myopia management, and more.
Dr. Whitehead and his wife, Julia, met in high school in Bandera, TX. They are thrilled to call Kerrville home and couldn’t imagine a better place to raise their three children: Luke, Norah, and William. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially along the banks of the Guadalupe. Dr. Whitehead serves the Kerrville community alongside his church family at Trinity.

Dr. Tobin Tilley is a well-established optometrist and eye disease specialist. He is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Tilley treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, keratoconus, and various eye infections. He also provides the surgical co-management of LASIK and cataract procedures. His years of experience contribute to his success in all areas of therapeutic optometry.
Recognized for having an exceptionally caring nature, Dr. Tilley takes the time to perceptively listen to each patient’s concerns and provide the best visual and medical solutions.
When he’s not at the clinic, you may find Dr. Tilley out serving the community, walking on the river trail, listening to music at the Kerrville Folk Festival, or adoring his grandchildren.
